SPAES have entered into a close cooperation with Hensoldt and its subsidiary EUROAVIONICS. The focus of the partnership is the marketing of the SferiRec Lightweight Crash Recorder from Hensoldt and the offer of the entire product range from EUROAVIONICS.
As an EASA Part 21J Design Organization, SPAES will certify the HENSOLDT SferiRec Lightweight Crash Recorder for various aircraft and distribute it with the installation kits developed and manufactured by SPAES.
The SferiRec LCR is one solution for aircraft to meet the new EU regulation 2019/1387, which requires that all aircraft with turbine engines over 2.25 tons, which includes small and light aircraft, must carry a flight recorder that complies with the ED-155 directive from 2022 onwards. The SferiRec LCR, with capture and recording functions for sound, flight data and video in one housing and weighing only 1 kg, is the right answer to these requirements, the company says.
“With the new distribution partnership between SPAES and HENSOLDT and its subsidiary EUROAVIONICS takes a further step to expand its network in the civil avionics market and thus to become a renowned player in the civil aviation business,” says Joachim Schanz, CEO of SPAES.
